Best AI tools to create a LinkedIn carousel in 2026
Seven tools to create a LinkedIn carousel with AI: who each one is for, how to use it, prices taken from the official pages, free plan or just a trial, and when ChatGPT or Claude is enough.
What a LinkedIn carousel is, in practice
On LinkedIn, a carousel is usually a PDF published with the "document" option of a post. Each page of the PDF becomes a slide that the reader swipes through. You can pick a square format (1080 x 1080 pixels) or a portrait format (1080 x 1350 pixels). There is no fixed number of pages. Keep one idea per page, a short headline and little text, because many readers are on mobile.
An AI carousel tool helps with two steps. It writes the text of each page from a topic or from existing content (an article, a video, a post). It then lays that text out with your colours and fonts. Some tools also publish the PDF to LinkedIn or schedule it in advance.
How these tools are ordered
None of the tools in this list has verified reviews on AIGrowthRank yet, and we have not tested them ourselves. Descriptions come from the official websites and prices from the pricing pages, with the date of the check next to each price. Design tools follow the provisional order of our Instagram carousels and visuals use case. LinkedIn suites follow the order of Post on LinkedIn to attract clients, then the tools that are not ranked there, in alphabetical order. At the time of publication, none of these tools pays us a commission. If that changes, the link will be labelled "Ad: affiliate link" and the order will stay the same.
Tools built for carousels and visuals
These four tools are made to produce visuals. They fit if carousels are your main format or if you also make Instagram carousels.

Canva is a general online design tool. Its AI features are grouped under the name Magic Studio. It fits if your brand assets already live in Canva, or if you also make Instagram visuals, banners or presentations. For a LinkedIn carousel, you start from a carousel template, replace the text page by page, then download the result as a PDF and publish it as a document.
The writing is still up to you. The simplest method is to write the page text in an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, then paste it into the template. We could not read Canva's pricing page automatically, so we do not show a price: check it on canva.com before you pick a plan.

PostNitro is an AI carousel maker for LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok. Its pricing page says you can start for free in the editor. The Starter plan, at $15/month, includes watermark-free exports, 8 AI-generated slides per carousel and 30 downloads per month, with no post scheduling. The Creator+ plan, at $30/month, moves to 15 AI slides per carousel, unlimited downloads and scheduling to 10 social accounts. Every paid plan has a 3-day trial, and yearly billing gives two months free.
PostNitro exports PNG, PDF or MP4 and offers more than 100 templates with a brand kit. It fits if you want a tool focused on carousels, from writing to publishing, without going through a general design tool.

aiCarousels, a publisher based in Sweden, presents itself as a carousel generator for LinkedIn, the Instagram feed and stories, and TikTok. You choose a topic or paste existing content, the AI writes the pages, then you adapt a template to your colours and fonts. The site highlights automatic resizing of elements, which helps if you are not used to design work. The PRO plan adds a LinkedIn post generator, a formatter and an ideas generator.
Its pricing page returned an error during our check on 2026-10-23. We therefore show neither a price nor a free plan status. Check both on the website before you sign up.
- Price: Free (50 AI credits); Starter $15/month; Pro $26/month [Source, 2026-10-23]
- Free plan: yes

Contentdrips creates carousels and visuals for LinkedIn and Instagram. According to our check, the free plan gives 50 AI credits and turns a text or a CSV file into a carousel. One generation with the AI carousel maker costs 10 credits, so those 50 credits cover about five generated carousels. The Starter plan, at $15/month, gives 500 credits per month, publishing to LinkedIn and blog-to-carousel conversion. The Pro plan costs $26/month.
The pricing page mentions both a free plan "forever" with 50 credits and a 7-day trial with 50 credits. Check which one applies to your account when you sign up. Contentdrips fits if you want to try carousel generation without paying, or if you have blog articles to repurpose.
LinkedIn suites that also make carousels
If you post several times a week on LinkedIn, a tool that handles writing, scheduling and analytics can replace a separate carousel tool. These three suites have a carousel module, but their price covers many other features. They are mostly worth it if you use those other features.
- Price: Pro $39/month ($31/month billed annually); Teams $199/month; 7-day free trial [Source, 2026-10-23]
- Free plan: no, free trial only

Supergrow helps you write LinkedIn posts in your own voice. It relies on what it calls Content DNA and on AI interviews (Postcast): you answer questions, in writing or by voice, and the tool turns your answers into posts. The Pro plan, at $39/month ($31/month billed yearly), includes the carousel maker, turning YouTube videos, articles and PDFs into posts, scheduling with a calendar and a Kanban board to track your drafts.
Every Supergrow plan has a 7-day free trial, and there is no free plan. Pick it if carousels are only one format among others in your LinkedIn routine and you want a single tool for everything.
- Price: Starter $39/month; Growth $69/month; Pro $199/month; 7-day free trial [Source, 2026-10-23]

Taplio, a French publisher, combines a database of more than 5 million viral posts, AI writing, scheduling and analytics. Its Carousels module turns existing content into a swipeable carousel. Plans range from Starter at $39/month (scheduling and core analytics) to Pro at $199/month. AI writing starts with the Growth plan at $69/month. The free trial lasts 7 days, and the pricing page mentions a 30-day money-back option.
We rate Taplio as a grey area for terms of service. Its Pro plan includes automated lead outreach, and section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement forbids automating actions on an account. Creating carousels and scheduling posts are not affected by this point.
- Price: Growth $49/month ($29/month billed annually); Creator $69/month ($39/month billed annually); free trial [Source, 2026-10-23]

MagicPost, a French publisher, is an AI LinkedIn post generator. Carousel creation is limited to the Creator plan, at $69/month or $39/month billed yearly. The Growth plan, at $49/month or $29/month billed yearly, does not include it. MagicPost offers a free trial but no free plan, according to our check on 2026-10-23. It comes after Supergrow and Taplio because it is not part of the use case's provisional shortlist.
When a general AI assistant is enough
You do not necessarily need another subscription. If you publish one carousel a month or less, you can write the text with a general assistant and do the layout with a tool you already have, or with the free plan of PostNitro or Contentdrips.
- In ChatGPT or Claude, give your topic, your audience and your goal. Ask for a page-by-page carousel outline, with a short headline and two or three lines at most per page.
- Reread and cut. Each page should be readable in a few seconds.
- Paste the text into a Canva, PostNitro or Contentdrips template, then export as PDF.
- Publish the PDF on LinkedIn as a document. Give the document a clear title, because LinkedIn shows it above the carousel.
Example prompt to adapt: "You are a LinkedIn writer. Write an 8-page carousel about [topic] for [audience]. Page 1: a concrete promise in under 10 words. Pages 2 to 7: one idea per page, a headline of 6 words at most and two sentences of explanation. Page 8: a summary and a question to start the comments. Direct tone, no jargon."
According to its pricing page checked on 2026-10-16, Claude has a free plan and a Pro plan at $17/month billed yearly ($20 monthly). If you always write in the same style, a Claude Project where you upload your past posts keeps that context from one session to the next. For ChatGPT, we could not verify prices automatically. A dedicated tool becomes useful when you publish every week, want your brand applied to every carousel without redoing it, or want to schedule your posts.

FAQ
What is the best AI tool to create a LinkedIn carousel?
We do not name a winner until there are verified reviews. For an occasional carousel, a general AI assistant for the text and Canva or a free plan for the layout are enough. To publish every week, compare PostNitro, Contentdrips, Supergrow and Taplio during their trials.
Is there a free tool to make LinkedIn carousels?
According to our checks in October 2026, PostNitro and Contentdrips have a free plan with limits. Supergrow, Taplio and MagicPost offer a free trial, which is not a free plan: access stops at the end of the trial unless you pay.
What format should a LinkedIn carousel use?
A PDF published as a document in a LinkedIn post. Each page becomes a slide. Square (1080 x 1080 pixels) and portrait (1080 x 1350 pixels) are the most common formats.
Do carousel tools comply with LinkedIn's rules?
LinkedIn's terms mainly target automated actions such as invitations, messages or comments. Creating a carousel is not one of them. We show a terms of service status for each tool: Taplio is a grey area because of the automated lead outreach in its Pro plan.
